The first part of this season saw the Storm battle their way through the Benson and Hedges Cup. The team's efforts culminating in a victorious appearance in the final at Sheffield on December 4th.

The score was 3-3 at the end of the third period, overtime couldn't split the Storm and the London Knights, and the tie came down to penalties. Frank Pietrangelo saved all of London's shots ... and Rick Brebant scored for the Storm.

In the EHL Storm found themselves in the toughest group yet and, despite some great efforts, collected just two points from six group round games.

The Storm were unable to retain the Superleague Championship finishing the League season in third place - with the Championship going to Bracknell Bees. The Play Offs were the low point of the season with the Storm only managing one win from six games to total 5 points and a bottom place finish. At the end of season Awards Mark Bernard was named the player of the year.
